To further pursue our corporate growth strategy and to continue meeting the needs, demands and requirements of this dynamic industry, we seek ambitious, self-starters eager to be part of a team of experienced interior designers to expand their knowledge and experience within commercial interior design.
Working as part of a team within CRA offices in West Los Angeles, the Intermediate Interior Designer will work closely with senior staff to conceptualize and fully develop interior schemes for our clients. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious self-starter who will work diligently as part of a team to follow-through on the various steps and components involved in the design process for commercial related projects including hotels, restaurants, multi-family properties, clubs and a variety of other project types.

Job Role Details:
- Candidate will be required to work within CRA office Monday - Friday with work-from-home to-be-determined by Senior staff
- Must have some Interior Design experience in the work force (3+ years ideal)
- Must be able and willing to travel
- Full-time employee of CRA

- Compensation Range: $40,000 - $60,000 based on experience

The ideal candidate must have:
- Current work experience within the industry
- A desire to further their career in commercial Interior Design
- Be eager to learn, make mistakes, listen to guidance and implement lessons-learned
- Recognize what needs to be done and be proactive in making it happen to the best of their abilities
- A desire and ability to multi-task
- An ability to write things down and follow-through on necessary tasks
- Be open to advise, constructive criticism and guidance
- Be supportive and attentive to the needs of senior designers who they will assist
Tasks:
Assist senior team as follows:
- Research project background and help develop project narratives
- Develop and edit presentation decks in PowerPoint
- Attend meetings and conference calls in order to take notes and organize tasks
- Understand and help maintain project scope, schedules and budgets
- Assist in identifying furniture, finishes and fixtures that support the design narrative
- Develop FF&E product specifications
- Review project submittals and provide comments
- Organize vendor presentations and help maintain product library
- Assist with in-office meetings
- Sharing of administrative functions including phones, supplies, kitchen maintenance, etc.
Skills:
- Desire to develop excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort with Microsoft software suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Ability to read and understand building plans
- Basic knowledge in one or more AutoCad or Revit, Sketch-up, Photoshop
