Summary Position
This position provides technical support for Elon University School of Law's classroom technology; inclusive audio/visual equipment, integrated software and other facilities featuring audio and video conferencing systems and administer the online exam system. A successful candidate will have the necessary skills to investigate, troubleshoot, test, recommend, and integrate new technologies for law school classroom and online instruction. Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to troubleshooting classroom AV and projection systems, monitoring equipment requests and reservations, additional responsibilities include providing training for classroom technology and exam system.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required. Must have outstanding communication and consultative skills and must be able to apply these skills with faculty and staff at all educational levels. Must be detail-oriented, have excellent time management and organizational skills, and be able to effectively lead and execute projects and initiatives. Must be able to work both independently and be a team player. Must have a demonstrated broad knowledge of instructional technology tools and their use in teaching and learning as well as audio-visual equipment for supporting events.

Special Skills or Experience
Experience related to technical end-user support services. Possess and demonstrate excellent customer service, cooperation, and team working skills/abilities. Experience with common instructional technology equipment e.g. document cameras, presentation remotes, pen displays, projectors, video conference technology. Basic familiarity with professionally installed audio-visual systems and software. Experience with on online exam system, such as ExamSoft is a plus. Ability to work independently under minimal guidance. Ability to communicate well with others, both verbally and in writing, and be able to effectively interact with administration, faculty, staff and other outside contacts in a pleasant, positive manner.
