Ventures Endurance, a division of Gannett/USA Today Network, is looking to hire a Copywriter to help deliver consistently compelling copy for close to 100 live and virtual endurance events, including road races, obstacle course events, and cycling. This person will be responsible for inspiring customer engagement at all stages of the customer journey across our race portfolio’s various brands and voices. This person will be joining a full marketing team in a quickly growing company. We work hard but we have a lot of fun along the way!
Responsibilities Include:
· Write engaging copy across a variety of channels and touch points, including: digital (web & advertising), social, email, print, physical event experiences, and PR
· Help craft and refine the copy direction of Ventures Endurance’s branding, marketing, and advertising initiatives
· Implement and maintain brand voice, tone, and style for all unique events in our portfolio at both a national and local level
· Collaborate with marketing team members to execute projects from conception to completion
· Brainstorm exciting ways to create strong and memorable campaign messaging with a compelling narrative
· Translate creative briefs into engaging and effective copy concepts
· Help craft social and digital advertising copy that consistently exceeds industry standards
· Become an expert in all things Ventures Endurance, and know our audiences inside and out
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of copywriting experience with a consumer brand, advertising agency, or in-house creative group
· Meticulous proofreading skills and a mastery of grammar
· Able to multitask and stay organized, with exceptional time management skills
· Ability to edit, elevate, and enhance existing copy
· Must be a self-motivated person who collaborates well with others
· Knowledge and/or passion of the endurance industry a plus, but not essential

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $38,700 and $93,150. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
