Supervisory Responsibilities: •None
.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Conduit work - EMT, Rigid, Aluminum, PVC. Ability to size per NEC •Conduit Bending - knowledge of hand, electric and hydraulic benders •Feeder Wiring - Ability to size conduit & wiring per NEC •Branch wiring - Conduit/Wire and MC cable. Ability to size and color code per NEC •Lighting & Lighting Controls •Fire Alarm - Able to install conduit/wire and free air per NEC •Generators/ATS - Ability to install per drawings and NEC •Switchgear, Panels, Disconnects, services - Ability to install per drawings and NEC •Grounding - Ability to install per NEC •Full working knowledge of current NEC •Blue Print reading - Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical •Specifications/Submittals - Able to read, understand and complete work meeting these standards •Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings •Layout work from drawings and sketches •Tests and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation using volt meter, continuity tester, meggar, light meter •Modify existing electrical work for new customer needs •Performs other related duties as assigned. •Produces a top quality product that meets the Company's standards. •Updating foreman on progress, issues and solutions •Must have the ability to work with little to no supervision •Must be able to work out of town (stay overnight), shift work, overtime and weekends if needed

Qualifications: (Essential to a candidates ability to perform the position- a candidate who does not possess the basic qualification would be unable or clearly unqualified to do the job)
Education and Experience:
•High school diploma or equivalent required. •Completion of electrician apprenticeship •Five years + of experience working as an electrician •Valid driver's license - CDL license holder a plus ( MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO WORK) including valid DOT medical card •Master and/or City of Harrisburg license •Completed Lift Training Certificate •Must have a clean criminal background
Physical Requirements: •Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. •Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding. •Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits up to 100 pounds. •Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds at a time. •Must be comfortable working on heights 6' - 50' •Must be able to use hand tools, benders, power tools without assistance from others •Must be able to work in weather extremes from heat, cold, rain, snow, etc

Pay Rate: $21 - $27 depending on experience and abilities for all of the items listed above
