Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other visual design tools. Working knowledge of current (HTML, CSS, scripting) and emerging technologies. Experience with digital marketing and communications channels- website, social media, etc.
Related experience in marketing, public relations, communications, creating multiplatform, trigger-based communications for enrollment drivers (admissions, advising, financial aid, testing and/or recruiting)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Associate Director of Digital Communications, the Assistant Director of Digital Communications supports the management of Graduate and Professional Enrollment Management's digital presence in support of the university's strategic enrollment goals, including development and maintenance of digital content via website and some digital marketing tools. This position plays an integral role in implementing and maintaining the new centralized graduate recruitment website.
- Work collaboratively with GPEM staff to implement and maintain centralized graduate recruitment website. Write, modify and maintain content for new pages and collaborate with GPEM school partners to optimize their recruitment efforts through this tool.
- Act as a leader in GPEM on the utilization of Slate by Technolutions (Higher Education CRM) and all of its corresponding tools for effective communication. Organize a library of content block and dataset resources and provide support and best practices for implementation.
- Utilize Slate-based data collection to construct and maintain resources for recruitment and admissions processes. Develop, implement and maintain portals on both the internal side (staff program data portal) and during every step of the admission process (recruitment website, appointment scheduler, application status, admitted student).
- Partner with Web Designer, Digital Communications, GPEM, to work with ESRR in providing recommendations for process changes based on web presence and Slate analytics.
- Partner with Associate Director, Digital Communications, GPEM, to lead strategy around Slate campaign construction and how best to organize communication flows based on subject and audience.
- Develop and create a range of high-quality digital media assets for recruitment purposes and partner with ESRR to track their effectiveness.
- Assist with the execution of miscellaneous digital communications projects
- Perform other duties, tasks and assignments as required

- Excellent organization skills, ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and develop, cultivate, and manage relationships across a complex organization.
- Understanding of best practices for online communications and analytics. Excellent copy-writing skills, including web and mobile. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organization and project management skills. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using CRM (Technolutions by Slate preferred).
