Job Summary:
The Quality Control Analyst assists with game preparation and management as well as recruiting for the football program.
*Willingness and ability to travel as well as work evenings, weekends and holidays.*
Specific Responsibilities:
- Assists coaches and staff with: 80%
- Creating and preparing playbooks, depth charts, practice and game plans, scouting and tendency reports and practice cards;
- Data entry and research;
- Charting duties during practice and on gameday
- Weekly and post season self scout analysis
- Assists the Director of Player Personnel and coaches with: 15%
- Updating and managing the recruiting database
- Organizing recruiting areas
- Completing required compliance and business office paperwork as it relates to recruiting (official and unofficial visits, camps/clinics, etc.);
- Tracking recruiting activity;
- Creating material for social media platforms
- Coordinating recruit visits and tickets
- Responsible for adhering to all Department and University policies and procedures, as well as the rules, regulations, bylaws and interpretations of the Big Ten Conference and the NCAA.
- Other duties as assigned or required. 5%
- Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
- Possess ability to communicate effectively one-to-one, in small groups and in public speaking contexts; writes precise, well-organized emails, letters and proposals while using appropriate vocabulary and grammar.

- Strong analytical skills
- Extensive knowledge of football technology, including Visio.
- Experience working with a Division I or professional football team is preferred.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations of the NCAA is required, while knowledge of the Big Ten Conference and Northwestern University preferred.
