Job Summary:
The School of Physical Therapy in the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions at Regis University seeks applicants for a 12-month faculty appointment at the rank of assistant professor. Responsibilities include teaching in assigned areas of expertise, scholarship, student advising, and service at all levels of the University and in the community.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualified faculty candidates must have:
- A license or be licensure-eligible to practice as a physical therapist in Colorado.
- An academic doctoral degree in a related field from an accredited institution OR a clinical doctoral degree (DPT) with evidence of advanced clinical certification such as ABPTS specialization.
- Teaching experience in physical therapy and health science or exercise science
- Evidence of scholarship dissemination (peer-reviewed publication or presentation)
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive practices in teaching, scholarship, and service.
This position will involve teaching in the undergraduate Health & Exercise Science program as well as the DPT program. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in the following areas: health science, exercise science, and/or orthopaedic/sports physical therapy.
Ranked in the top 25 best physical therapy programs by U.S. News and World Report 2020, the School of Physical Therapy offers an entry-level DPT degree, as well as an orthopaedic residency, a fellowship program in orthopaedic manual physical therapy, an undergraduate degree in Health & Exercise Science and a collaborative partnership OTD program with Creighton University. The DPT curriculum incorporates the study of movement as a core curricular foundation in a systems approach across the lifespan. The breadth and depth of our faculty content teams allows for innovative approaches to teaching and learning, as well as engagement in our profession and local and global communities. Interprofessional collaboration in teaching, scholarship and service is highly valued and encouraged.
