Must be able to work from ladders or lifts up to 15 feet or higher
Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds
Must be able to work in tight places for extended periods of time
Must be able to distinguish wiring colors
Must be able to traverse campus while carrying or moving equipment in a reasonable amount of time.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Shift
Monday – Friday; and 8:00am – 4:30pm.
Job Summary
This position will provide technical support, maintenance, and installation services to standard audio and video, and video conferencing learning spaces. The department provides a wide range of academic technology to faculty, staff and students, and will be called upon to support technology in a variety of settings. This position must be able to work independently or as a team member. Good communication skills are necessary as this position will interact with customers on a regular basis.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Driver's license preferred.

Preferred Education/Experience
Prefer Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience.
Prefer hardware and software skills and knowledge including but not limited to:
videoconferencing technologies, including Polycom Codecs; Mac and Windows operating systems; digital video recording devices; microphones; mixers; amplifiers; speakers; data/video projectors; TurningTechnologies; Echo360; Adobe Connect Pro.
